I'm getting more and more pissed off with the moaners with each passing week

Moaning like fuck on Wednesday saying we're going to lose, and their fave boo boy is Jolean, he is to blame for everything!

As I have posted before on this thread we have always had more than our fair share of these bell ends down the years. Having met me squirty, I think you'll agree that self-confidence and bravado is not something that I lack ,and as a consequence I have taken my life in my hands on numerous occasions with these prophets of doom down the years. They don't appear to enjoy being on the receiving end of their own medicine, which is surely one of the the hallmarks of a bully

They have made several players lives a misery down the years and I have no doubt were partly responsible for the perpetual underachievement of this football club and why united's label of us being "bitters" was not entirely based in fiction.

I am by nature a very upbeat person, and it would be unreasonable of me to expect everyone to share my perspective on life, but some of our supporters are such miserable bastards you do wonder why they even make the effort to get out of bed in the morning.
Made me smile

I have less reasonable perspective, however I have never been able to understand how these messengers of doom have come to the conclusion that moaning like fuck at a player would actually help him?
I'd like to know which book they have been using for their motivational tactics
However, similar to you, I have gotten myself into hot water with these numpties, something I cannot afford to do but my Hulk type anger takes over and I just want to rip their head off their shoulders and toss it onto the pitch for a kick about

I've never had one respond in kind. My mastery of the sarcastic put down always leaves them non-plussed ;-)

As to your Hulk like anger, does that involve you falling to the ground and flattering to deceive a great deal?

The moaners have been an ever present feature since before the days of Richard Edghill. I can't think what motivates them to attend or what it takes to please them.

This.

I had some nob in front of me on Wednesday saying Mancini is shit and when Porto had the ball for more than a minute and managed to get a shot away he shouted "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT MANCINI" whatever the fuck that means. Beating the holders 3-1 on agg wasn't enough for him obviously. I wouldn't mind so much but he spent most of the game turning around to talk to someone behind me and left with about 7 mins to go.

Back on topic,if you want success and stability for many years to come then you have to accept the "tourists". I personally see it as the club is on the right path to bigger and better things.

Does this mean that people like me are no longer welcome to watch MCFC?
Having climbed on board the boat 15+ years ago (well i was a closet blue long before that, but that was when I started attending Maine Road as often as I could afford, and on quite a few occasions when I couldn't afford it), having sat along with the rest looking down the precipice as we stalled wondering if things would ever get any better, should I now get out of the boat, lose the faith or get off the roller coaster at the time when things are eventually looking superb?
Or am i going to be allowed to enjoy the good times after the long journeys home from watching us lose to Villa 3-1 and spurs in consecutive weeks and knowing then that we were getting relegated again, thinking that a Stevie Howie late equaliser at the swamp was as good as it was going to get? Getting all excited by the signing of George Weah only for him to be all but gone before the cricket season had ended?
Should I now be evicted after enduring a 2-2 draw with snackpot county or seeing Jonny Macken score the winner for Preston from his own half, to make way for local fans that couldnt be arsed to attend Maine Road for a League cup tie against Wimbledon, where in typical City fashion, due to the late arrival of our flight, we arrived to find we were one down?
Or am I exempt because I was "lucky enough" to experience the bad times?

I think some people may be forgetting how much The Club and especially the Premier League are marketing themselves worldwide, like it or not the Prem is being sold as a tourist destination as well as a TV market.

Travel agencies around the world sell matchday experiences for the big clubs, and as we are now included in that bracket, tourists are inevitable.
As long as the locals can still get/afford tickets, is it really that much of a problem?
