Disregarding the whos who or might be thing, I have a simple question:
Why? What for? What is the intention of these so called terrorists?
What is their cause/agenda/delusion/belief?
What are they hoping for?
What do they want?
Because it seems to methere is no reason behind this. There are thousands of people killed every single month around the world in the name of Jihad or whatever. Does anybody know why?
The cause of terrorists is to cause terror and create fear.
9/11 lead pretty directly to the invasion of Afgahnistan and Iraq. In turn, those wars will have alienated the West even further from the Muslim World, creating a stronger force for fundamentalism and extremism. Results in more gullible kids being brainwashed into becoming suicide bombers, which probably eventually led to the terrorist attacks in London.
The whole aim is to destablise the Western World, to undermine the Government etc. No figures, but i wonder how big a boost the BNP has had in popularity since all the scaremongering in press about illegal immigrants being recruited into terrorist cells or taliban trained kids coming over on student visas. It's the reaction of people like Lee Bradbury (sorry to bring him into it, but he illustrates the point perfectly) that are exactly the aim of the terrorists. Creates mistrust and suspision, which combined with ignorance is a bad combination. Killing people along the way is sort of an added bonus, that's why they don't discriminate or care about killnig fellow Muslims, it's the reverberating effect of the bombings that they care about.
