Just watched this trailer I had no idea they were doing anymore of these until this dropped! Absolutely love the 1968 planet of the apes and then the ones before this trailer!

But it begs the question as to WHAT audience are Disney trying to play to? They went PG now back to Adult!! They're all over the place!

I heard they were softballing 'DD' for a more friendly audience (they were pilliared after making 'Kingpin' wear a dumb Hawaiian shirt and clownish in that last showing in 'She-Hulk'), but with the success of 'The Boys' superhero hyper-fantasy, they know it's better to return to the Netflix modelling.

And thank f for that!

Ye they’ve stopped DD been made for now, Marvel are rethinking everything they are going to do now, due the flops they are having including the upcoming Marvels. The writers actors strike hasn’t helped either, they are losing a lot of money and are refocusing on what they need going forward.

Kingpins attire and behaviour in Hawkeye is comic accurate though for certain stoty arcs as was prerty much that series (even daredevils more comedic/silly side in she hulk is consistent with his comic)

MCU fan boys are idiots tbf, as are some comic book fans who only stick to one generational tone of the charactors when tgere are decaded of thwm portraying different tones and attributes
