Just saw this:Best star trek since TOS and despite a few things that irked me (still don't like the new concept klingons) they managed to be a completely fresh and diferent while tieing into the continuity of the franchise and not dismisisng it (unlike the shite khan remake into darkness was even if it is a different timeline).
Thankfully they went for a more TOS, DS9, Voyager action/science fiction style not the boring TNG drone on about fucking diagnostics, waffle and if an andriod can cry bullshit
Just saw this:
Sir Patrick Stewart to reprise Star Trek role Jean-Luc Picard

This looks fookin' awesome!
Not usually a fan of women led films, but this could change my mind, some!
Based on the terrible 80s TV show?
I heard a while back there was gonna be a movie but I assumed it would be British made.I remember the show, but never watched it.
Is there a link or just coincidence...?

Has a Driving Miss Daisy feel to it..
Loved the book. Loved the McQueen/Hoffman version.
Anyway...
I didn't realise this has been out!
Anyone seen it?
