training report from DH on other forum....

its the sheer collective mentality, as a group, that i'm feelin the most from yours and DH reports, that you kindly pass on... We're seeing the results transferred on to the pitch now, a new but real [for a change] dawn for sure

Yes mate and was going to post but Rammy put DH's on instead, no point in wasting my time.

It was excellent though

Good stuff, any indication on the lineup or is it to soon to predict that?

Too soon for any of that mate, the only thing i can say is that they all must feel they have a chance of getting into the first 11, VK was involved for the first time today, Monday maybe a little to early for him but the next game is 2 weeks away isn't it? he was awesome, Micah has had a rocket up his jaxie looked really eager to please, i don't envy MH on Monday, although i do feel that Manu will start, how can he not?

Cheers, maybe its what Micah needed and hopefully it will sharpen his focus, as for Ade he has to start, i think Petrov will miss out with it being away, otherwise same as with Stevie on the bench as well.

I know for a fact that i got into some serious "debates" about the credentials of Hughes last year, i kept saying training was improving, they wanted to get rid of the deadwood that was holding them back, now they have their own people in place and the players also.

I can honestly say that today was one of the best sessions i have ever seen in my few months of watching and posting, DH mentioned the last bit where it was 7/8 a side split into 3 teams, each squad was frightening and bursting with class.

It's an absolute pleasure to watch nowadays, compared even to last season when there was another agenda (IMHO) within the squad, everyone to a man now is trying with every sinue.

They are growing together are they are really enjoying it too.

I reckon will be three places up for grabs and six players going for them

Zab or Micah at right back - Zab should get it on form but will face Young on the right.

Petrov, SI, SWP and Bellars will be fighting it out for two midfield berths of left side midfield and right side midfield on form guide have to say Bellars for one spot and then it may be tactical decision for the other.

I reckon RSC will feature for 15 -20 mins maybe ask Ade to burn himself out bearing in mind had two weeks off. Can't see Jonno making bench until he has gained a bit more fitness through playing reserve games. Agree on Vinnie situation Villa too early but after the international break he could come in contention for Wigan game. Hopefully Robbie will be available for Burnley game which will be ideal first game after long lay off. Only my opinion and bound to get it wrong. This is why enjoy these training reports so much.

Doesn't sound too wrong Rammy, i think that on today's performance SWP will play with Bellers on the left, maybe Tevez might miss for SI, again my opinion, no idea what he will do.

But guaranteed whatever side will play, they will be right at it.

Zabba did play well against WH and if he gets his positioning right should be able to handle Young but wouldnt be surprised if Micah came in for his extra pace, think it will be Bellers on the left with CT behind Ade and SWP on the right, should be the strongest bench of the season so far. Love these training reports:-)

Wasn't it at Eastlands last year v Villa when Zabba had Young in his pocket? Not so easy away but Zabba for me.

On Monday nights showing i would keep Zabba in but it might just be that MH is thinking of Youngs pace and like you say it's not as easy away.
