Tram on Sunday to Etihad

Whilst they did charge me £3 they didn't charge me for the 2 kids I had with me so overall I was quite pleased with th way it was set up. Would definitely use the tram again.

Does a Manchester central train ticket entitle you to get to the etihad?

I know you can use say a ticket from Stalybridge to Manchester and use the metro link up to a certain point with the train ticket, but does this go as far as the etihad?

No, the central zone just covers Piccadilly, Victoria, Deansgate and the stations inbetween.

And to the bloke from Stafford, you should be able to buy a ticket from any train station to a Metrolink Zone. Etihad is in Zone M. But I know not all train companies have updated their software yet. So you may have to buy them seperately for the time being, depending on where you buy it.

I get the bus and tram so usually get a bus and tram all day saver for £6.50. Am I covered to get to and from the ground on this?

Got the tram from Prestwich to the ground without any problems, then got the tram after the game to eccles to watch Salford v Hull KR..£4.90 tram day pass, great value!

I''ll have to try the tram today for the first time. I'm going for a suit and will have to get the tram from Piccadilly gardens which I haven't been in for at least 20 odd years.

I'm getting giddy, I haven't even been on a bus for at least 25 years

Ohhh, that's two of the Eccles gang off the coach. We'll be in trouble!! :-)

Same here, back home in half the time it took when driving
