Perhaps I've missed the point entirely but if we've done something silly with Beerman what about the rest of them? M Garcia, Maffeo, Angelino, Diaz for instance?

Brahim moved to City at age 14 but couldn't play for a bit even after he turned 16 because he required his international clearance first. These kids who come early can't play any official games until they're of age. In his case, his whole family moved and I'm sure City waited until residency was fully established for him to begin training. Manu Garcia's transfer was agreed before he turned 16 but he didn't move until then. City are obviously very careful about this sort of thing.

Of course we would appeal and the ban wouldn't occur till Jan 2017 but it's not great news if true...

I can't see this being true.

If it is though and we have acted Improperly leading to a ban, then whomever was responsible for that transfer needs to be sacked literally immediately the ban is handed down.
