Transfer Strategy

He’s the ultimate snake oil salesman
Think that’s a bit much, but I think he should tone down or even stop doing these interviews entirely. He’s either going to hoist himself with his own petard, as may happen this year, or just offer a load of meaningless platitudes.

A post-transfer window interview would be great

A woman sends her fella to the shops for some milk and bread, nothing else needed, the guy is out all day and comes back just as the shops shut for the extended Bank Holiday weekend with a state of the art 80" TV and surround sound system even though they have a top quality TV in every room in the house already but no bread and milk. His misses asks wheres the milk and bread they needed for the weekend and the guy says he didn't have enough money for them and the TV.

That's been our transfer window and our strategy so far.
Never give bread and milk to hedgehogs

Still wondering what our strategy is tbh as we started the sumner window saying we are 100 percent getting a replacement in for kun so that’s good we then signed Carson up as our 3 rd choice keeper which is what it is then the grealish and Kane rumours start which makes everyone sit up and get excited but even then we are all thinking get the striker desk sorted first as we have an abundance of attacking midfielders but we still push and amazingly we pay £100 million for jack which makes all of British football take note and think bloody hell these guys are really did it this season. Now we all know what levy is about and we know that he will bust our balls to keep Kane so where the fuck is our plan b for other strikers ! We are linked with Ronaldo and apo he wants to come but as soon as Utd get involved we shit ourselves and pull out giving them free run at a guy who will get 25 plus goals and potentially win then the title whereas we are stuck with a young rookie who may turn out to top class a Brazilian who likes to play wide and a Spanish winger who we hope will turn out to be a striker . What a disaster.
Nailed it

Not really it’s the same interview every year and he is a very good salesman, he is coolness personified. The salesman isn’t the gullible one it’s the numpties who buy it time and time again.

we won the title despite not having a striker not because of it.

also mentioned clubs did not win the title due to issues with their team like defence, midfield etc,(or rivals being stronger) not because the top attackers you mentioned.

for example Luis Suarez was a magical signing and won the title for Atletico, after Barca pushed him out. and many at Barca said he is old ans shit.
Are we buying Luis Suarez?
