Manchester to Liverpool via Isle of Man is £168 with FlyBE. Hasn't gone up yet like the flights normally do for European aways. Out day before back day after.

Few decent hotels on the waterfront. Do the Magical Mystery Tour and the Mersey Ferry. You can visit John Lennon's house in Woolton. Terracotta Army exhibition is on atm. Some cracking pubs & bars in Liverpool. You could, definitely make a few days of it.I spent nearly four hours this morning sorting out possible permutions and costs of getting to Barcelona, Madrid, Munich, Roma, Seville and Turin, including the possibility of a six day holiday break at three of them.
Had them all written down neatly in a list and then when the draw was made I looked down the list and went 'doh'.
Good man, just filling out my visa request form.Ticket request gone in! Fingers crossed.
The costs of rooms in Manchester...and your calling them daft twats.
Nah, they were dirt cheap for all possible QF dates prior to United playing their second leg the other night - could've put a reserve on a room on all 4 possible dates and cancelled 3 of them once the date was known
