Travel ideas European away day, Liverpool

You can get a pleasure trip down the ship canal to Liverpool. Licensed as well. Going to do it one day.

In all seriousness Liverpool is a brilliant city and has some great architecture. Check out the Georgian area and pop into a wonderful pub on a row of terraced Georgian houses called Peter Kavanaghs. Brilliant.

Great beds in the Radisson. Don't do the Mersey ferry unless you really like the song. It's played on a constant loop for the hour and a half you are on it. You are right about the pubs/ bars/ restaurants...a lot of quality all over the city.
