Aren't train tickets ok via any acceptable route?

If so you could go via Birmingham and get there in less than 3 hours. No overcrowding on that one. Direct to Birmingham then Direct to Nottingham. Gets in at ten past one.

we are on the 10.07 train from sheffield,arrive nottingham 10.59
return journey is 16.41 from nottingham with reserved seats :)

just get the 9.22 arriving at 11.54 train, off to hooters for a gawp, maybe some food and pint of the black stuff. not even arsed about the game me!
