Mr Fancy Pants!Naples
usually fly Manchester to Orlando so probably drive past you in Tampa
Where do you stay on Marco?BA were doing some great prices Manchester to Miami via Heathrow with a car £400 last November to go this October now sadley £800, nice trip that along gator alley to the west coast,we normaly stay on Marco Island,no connection to my poster name though
Tin City is on Rte 41 as it makes the turn just south of Downtown Naples.was trying to think of where we went in Naples anyway the mrs just said Tin City if that rings a bell, nice bar there with live Rock Music on by the waterfront
Fuck off, it just started snowing here againMr Fancy Pants!
I’m writing this on my balcony on Marco Island! Was up in Naples this afternoon doing a little bikini shopping with the Mrs!
Huh?there isnt much on Marco
I tried to post a pic of the cloudless sunset, but it was too big for the server! Haha! ;-PFuck off, it just started snowing here again
You have to decide... east coast or west coast from Orlando?!We fancy florida next year, ive been twice but mrs never has so we want to take the kids , theyll be 6 and 9 next year.
want to spend as little time as possible in Orlando and do maybe 3 theme parks and then spend a week or so heading down to florida keys.
Any tips on maybe 2/3 places to stay for the week or so on way down from orlando to the keys?
been to siesta key and loved it there.
I should have read your reply! DOH!! At least that’s 2 recommendations! ;-)Only 40 mins east of Orlando airport is Cocoa Beach which is 15 mins from Cape Canaveral space center, the kids may enjoy seeing the rockets.
You say you have been to Siesta beach, Sarasota which is a great place. A little inland from Sarasota is Myakka state park. A great tour of the lake on the boat will bring you close up to alligators.
When I have been to Key West I have always stopped in Miami (4 hours / 4.30 from Tampa, equivelant of Manchester to London) and then onto the Quays. It is only 160 miles but can take 3 / 4 hours as majority is single lane each way and lots of traffic lights
East peasy! Down one coast, up the other! Orlando is slap bang in the middle!Thats great. I need to plan this properly as we’ll have 14 days to squeeze it all in but dont want spend 2 weeks shlepping about in a car. Also wary of ending up with an 8 hour drive from the keys to orlando on the last day to get the flight home.
