Travelling to Madrid

Flew from Mcr to Malaga on Sunday night with my lad
Train up on Monday morning and back down to Malaga weds morning
1st time in Madrid and had a good walk around the City and got to say I was very impressed with what I saw! Great game, great stadium the only downside was the Spanish pigs bullying people, they really do hate the English, very racist bunch of people indeed! Didn’t let that spoil a great trip
Still in Spain travelling around the Malaga area until Saturday
Up the blues!

Flew from Brum to Santander, watched them Monday night then train to Madrid Tues am.
On my own this trip but met some great Blues as usual.
3rd time in Madrid, thought the cops were ok this time, much lower profile Weds with Dortmund fans. They dont do PC when theres a terrorist alert which suits me, better than getting blown to bits.
On a train to Valencia atm for a flight to Manc.

At airport
Flight already delayed 45 mins.
2 nights kip then up early for train to Manchester via York
Great times

Any news about how many City fans were arrested in Madrid?
Why don't the media hold us fans up as an example to shame others if indeed there were so few if any arrests?

I thought the police were ok this time tbh compared to previous visits

Hope you enjoyed your trip mate, some effort and dedication coming all the way across the pond!

Brilliant trip … great meet up with mates Tuesday, sleep day Wednesday, out n about day today. Manchester tomorrow, Luton game Saturday, Madrid game Wednesday, and Wembley semi Saturday, back to US Sunday. Life is good :)

Glad you got sorted with your ticket. It was ‘pretty’ well organized (compared to other years)

Wow what a great few days

everyone with name changes get in ok? I didn't see to much trouble at the gates going in
We was near thr front of the queue in thr March from the station to the stadium. Lad I met got turned away immediately when they turned on the UV lights and seen it was doctored. Got the same response from city rep as he did from Spanish police. Understandable give the threat from ISIS

Got back late last night. Flew out Monday evening from East mids to palma- palma to Madrid. Quite a few blues on both flights. Was a solo traveller and was looking to mingle with fellow blues and boy I wasn't dissapointed! Met couple lads at the airport and stayed with them all day- group gained traction and had a good core of 5 of us at the end!

Phenomenal trip with a great set of lads- what a game of footy! Happy with the draw and we can take them back to our place with confidence- we are in the driving seat.

Wednesday got an early morning train to barca- trains are immense! Spent all day in called de blai on the tapas wafting between bars- was an amazing day! Back home last night from barca to east mids. Love our fanbase- makes me proud to be a blue. It is a huge shame the amount of tourists we did notice in the ground. People with Barcelona shirts in the stands and quite a few spanish so presuming they weren't blues either given their lack of celebration when we scored. Back home last night- great trip. Roll on Saturday!

Blimey....now that's what I call a trip...fair play & well done on the pilgrimage.

Sounds like a great trip!
What do you guys think of trains in Spain and Europe in general? Is it reliable and comfortable for a long hours travels? I checked couple of Omio reviews and not sure what to think about the whole thing to be honest.

Got home 2am this morning
Top trip

Observations:

Our support 2nd to none
Madrid coppers better this time
Sunday night - top
Monday night - good laugh with Dortmund - Jack's dad top bloke
Tues night - pretty flat prematch but FANTASTIC BLUE NOISE in the stadium
Easier to get out

Madrid are shit scared of City, they put everything into winning the home leg and know what's coming at ours.

Their fans are pussies. About 20 of 'em tried to intimidate us having a quiet lucky man beer near the metro. 5 of us semi-FOC's, a couple of young 'uns and my mrs. They didn't know what to do when we stood our ground and laughed in their faces.

Big Steve - props to a top blue.
Guvnor Pete - props to a top blue.
Wythy lads - props to top blues.
@Indaparkside is the invisible man
dont ever eat octopus
cardiff airport is decent in and out
Dont eat curry in madrid
Kenny and Dolly rule.

We are respected in Europe, so fuck this country, its gutter press and rat infested red shirt cartel. Fuck what this country thinks of our success, fuck em all.

As I told talksport in the square - we are the new Real Madrid - so get fucking used to us winning old big ears...Time and time again.

On to Luton, up the fucking Blues.

I went to City v Real then the following day I did Athletico v Dortmund
There is a vast difference in how I was treated at both matches
Athletico no escort to the ground , no ticket checks, or names on tickets ,less police presence.
Makes me wonder why I bother as an English fan

I was in the square Wednesday, hardly any coppers but no pissed up Dortmund fans either.
I was hoping to make the Atletico game but struggled to get my shit together when I had a drink so just went to a bar instead. Can do it next time we go with City.
Great trip, enjoyed it more this time than last time I went as the cops were better behaved.
