Off work today and I have the trial on in the background. First witness today was this voice recognition doctor who really didnt add much. Basically said he couldnt tell whose voice it was screaming.

Now up one of the police officers who interviewed Zimmerman on the night. We are basically hearing from Zimmerman himself although he does NOT have to testify in this case if he doesnt wish to. Ido think he almost HAS to take the stand. The judge will instruct the jury not to INFER anything if he doesnt. How do I know this?? thats a standard instruction in American courts.

VERY strange that they only have AUDIO tape NOT videotape of the interview............

When do we get to hear Martin's testimony, oh yeah that's right, we don't.

Also from what i can find, not one of the witness's have testified that they heard the "threats" Martin is supposed to have made.

There is a massive divide between black and whites and this creates distrust, paranoia and even fear. Yes I will also admit some black Americans do not help the cause with gang culture and crime but impression I got there was entire blocks were just painted with the same brush.

This all happened in Florida another place where whites are completed separated from the Cubans and blacks. Some of the arguments I am reading are well black teens were robbing the area so Zimmerman had a legitimate reason to suspect the boy. This does not sit comfortably with me because what happens at night when I'm in my track suit jogging,do I get shit for looking like a criminal running away from a scene? It's unacceptable the police said do not follow Trayvon, Zimmerman did everything else is a result of those actions.

He was trying to determine exactly where he was in the complex. Thats when Martin saw him and asked him if he (Zimmerman) had a problem. The evidence supports Zimmermans story. When we was talking to dispatch, they asked im where he was EXACTLY but he didnt know...........

If you had bothered to watch the trial you'd find that you're wrong. John Good, the man who witnessed the fight just before the shooting, testified that Trayvon was "straddled" on top of Zimmerman, and appeared to be bringing his arms down on him "ground and pound - MMA-style"

As for the police telling GZ to stay in the car, the exact words were "we don't need you to do that". If you had watched the trial you would know that the dispatcher can't order, only suggest. Liability issues iirc

Exactly ElanJo but dont let the testimony get in the way of people's preconceived notions.

It was just like when this first happened there were protests and even members of Congress shrill with the notion that Martin was killed solely because of his race.

Now one of the main witnesses for the prosecution said Martin called Zimmerman a "crazy ass cracker" those same people were falling over themselves in front of cameras claiming the trial was now NOT about race. You should have seen the coverage on Friday when this all went down. What a spectacle...........................................................................

Have to work the rest of this week so I wont be able to watch much if any of the trial the next couple of days. Thursday is the 4th so it a National Holiday and I dont know if there will be court on Friday.
