Average in 80/81was just over 33500 more than champions Villa, we didnt win a game for 3 months, and just over 34000 81/82That's not true, league average was 28k 80/81 then 34k 81/82 the year we had Trevor then back to 27k 82/83 after he left !

You are right re 80/81 I used dodgy figures from Transfer market web site !
