Only caught some of it, were there 3 people thrown out in the end? It's a tough call this one, although I'm pro standing. No need for the heavy handed tactics though. Just wish it'd been sorted way before the start of the season.

saw it over from 116, looked like it was because of people refusing to sit.

anyway ejecting football supporters for wanting to stand? i mean its understandable when people want to sit and cant see but from what i noticed was pretty much everyone there were singing "stand up if you love city". so fucking let them!!!!!!!

Did anybody see what caused the 3(it may well have been more) lads to be thrown out by showsec?

it was because people refused to sit - my lad just got back who sits in 109 - one guy refused to sit so he was carried out by 4 blokes - my lads mate who was in 108 was also ejected

some of the stewards were also giving some of the younger lads shit - stewards were fronting out the younger lads and sayin we know your name and address

seriously now need sorting out because it really will kick off and someone will get hurt

If there's one thing we should have learned from the Poznan fans it should have been how to react if the stewards try to get heavy handed.

I was sat in the first seat next to them in 107 and it was for persistent standing, but I tell you now it was a complete joke, for a start everyone was stood up not just the ejected and another thing that was fucking annoying was the constant shouts of sit down from the fletchers mob and on top of that some even started to obstruct the view on the people in 109 by standing in front of one them, luckily it didnt effect me but to those who it did i'd write a complaint to city.

My gf has text me sayin her brother got chucked out at the end for standing up and he's in 109. Not a dick or someone to be aggressive at all, but I imagine this is about the same thing.

I'm in row g of 109. I saw one lad being taken away who wasn't resisting but being dragged by 3 stewards. It's not good enough, if he was ejected for standing why don't they start with the away fans first? Also, giving the Ginger haired female steward verbal abuse for asking people to sit down is out of order :(

Once again Showsec and the stewards ejected those fans at the front of the block, while those in the middle and the back of the block were allowed to stand. (no offence to them)

I would like to ask Mr Fletcher why once again he used 'his' Showsec rent-a-mob to target individual fans, while the vast majority of fans in block 109 were allowed to stand.

Mr Fletcher you might be doing your job trying to appease a minority of fans in 109 and MCC licensing committee, but by your actions and that of your Showsec rent-a-mob, you're alienating City fans, upsetting them and treating them in a disgraceful manner.

Just for once why don't you leave your control room and go down to block 109 and do some of your dirty work yourself, instead of leaving it to others. Then again you were probably to busy totaling up the ejection figures for the night.

You should be ashamed of yourself. No doubt you'll view it as a good nights work and a job well done.
