But it isn't really enough, I'm sure things go on behind the scenes but people need to pull up these extremists and sympathizers in their communities and educate the vulnerable

Well I cant remember us ever being at the heart of Europe they dont really like us and we were never getting involved with the migrant crisis really been stand off from the start, rightly or wrongly in peoples eyes.
There are another 25 countries where these refugees can go, 27 if you count Switzerland and Norway so why does it fall on the UK to be the ones who should be at the heart of it.
What you said is true really but us leaving the EU and appointing Boris Johnson realistically does not change these peoples situation or hope of being saved

We are second largest economy in the EU and one of the largest net contributors so I would argue we are at its heart. The fact that we abdicated our responsibility for the migrant crisis was for domestic political reasons and ironically the EU in/out referendum. As a consequence the UK is one of the smallest 'acceptors' of migrants of the 25 countries. Sweden, Hungary, France and Germany have all taken far more per head of population. Morally, do you not think the Uk should have taken at least matched some of these countries? To bring us back to the subject though, the effectiveness of our countries response to the consequences of these terror attacks and instability in the Middle East will be defined by our relationships with the rest of the world and the rest of Europe in particular. i guess you are correct in saying that it won't make a difference to the migrant population though. We abdicated any meaningful responsibility for that prior to Brexit and I guess we will continue that position.

The real solution of course is education and investment into the vast areas of Paris, London, Manchester and other urban areas that have become 'Muslim' ghettos churning out young disaffected men with no prospects who are easy prey for extremists to radicalise. The specific problem with planes is that they can hold up to 500 people and if you can bring one down, you're pretty much guaranteed all will die. Not only that, there's a chance you can do without sacrificing yourself too (via baggage). And if you can bring it down over a city, then the carnage is even worse.
Now you could cause mayhem with a train too - but probably not 500 deaths in a single incident.

Security at airports down't prevent any terrorism though, it's just moving it elsewhere and hopefully reducing the fatalities / casualties in the process.

He's not saying that though. He is saying that there are dormant nutters out there of all creeds and with the right call to arms / motivation they can be activated.
In this instance a Muslim nutter was activated. In another instance an American teen shoots up a school.

My point is though apart from us paying Europe and the EU has never really wanted us around we annoy them an inconvenience the plans for the state by disagreeing. Your views are too simplistic fella, is extreme Islam the cause yes but all I am saying is not all acts are carried out by true believers with a cause
