The reason France suffers is because it has 9 million Muslims a percentage of which are extremist. That might be 0.0001% it might be ten percent it might be 5% but whatever it is it is a disgrace that children are dead or orphaned today because of warped believes. It is common sense that no stone whatsoever should be unturned in ensuring that intelligence and a zero tolerance approach to any sign of religious extremism is the most important thing that needs to take place to combat extremism in this country. The real solution of course is education and investment into the vast areas of Paris, London, Manchester and other urban areas that have become 'Muslim' ghettos churning out young disaffected men with no prospects who are easy prey for extremists to radicalise. I agree, but those measures have to be considered properly, rather than a knee jerk 'we need bollards' in the wake or a vehicular attack. There are downsides to bollards too which endanger lives.
The more measures we put in place to cater for anti-terrorism, the more society pays a price in general.

No doubt there will be lots of hashtags, Muslim leaders and the usual long list of 'celebrities' coming out with their (unfortunately) all too usual condolences. But it isn't really enough, I'm sure things go on behind the scenes but people need to pull up these extremists and sympathizers in their communities and educate the vulnerable

It's actually quite worrying because someone who is mentally gone and decides to end it with violence may take out an ex wife,a neighbour or a politician but are we going to get a new extreme. This guy was obviously bonkers does in jump off a bridge during rush hour or because of recent events in France does he think what's the most damage I can do as a Muslim delivery driver?
