Tube strike cup final weekend (now called off)

Nothing surprises me with the third world transport infrastructure we have in the UK. There are plenty of overground options and lots of trains to Wembley Stadium station (the way I usually go). In the past I have also jumped on a bus on Wembley High Street which went to Euston. It only took abour 40 minutes after the United semi which was quicker than queueing for the tube anyway. FFS most tickets over £100, a late kick-off, shit transport. The authorities hate match-going fans don't they?
Parking at Stanmore Station were the tube to the Jubilee line starts only four stops to Wembley Park Station and have been told you can walk to Wembley in a out 45 mins wonder if anybody can confirm this !

You can't compare the United semi with other times as United fans all walked home plus they were home before the final whistle!

This is my route also if I drive...it does look walkable but reckon 45 mins is pushing it

5.3 miles according to Google maps. Yes, you could walk it but the only way it's going to be in 45 mins is if you run the whole way.

fuck that for s game of soldiers looks like taxi but hopefully will effect the Monday rush hour more than the weekend.
I think you can stay on the M1 a bit further down (towards Brent Cross) and park there, quicker walking and similar in terms of getting away as straight back on M1...I’ve never done this though so not sure how easy it is as always use Stanmore.

so what could have been a glorious day of celebration for us supporters (if we win league and cup).
is turning into a bloody ball ache.
KO time - shite
Prices - utterly ridiculous
and now travel - as awkward as possible,
well done to the one's on the free coaches.
but the theres time for the motorways to be closed yet
