Listen mate my brother is a kitchen fitter and has no O-levels. He works hard and is the salt of the earth. But if you can't see that preventing kids from non-rich families getting a further education is evil, then I don't know what planet you are living on.

It is evil but most of them cba learning anything decent and just go for the pissed up std fest. Can learn what they want but most of them have no common sense.

Can you prove this? That's a disgusting generalisation. The only reason you think most go and get pissed is because they are the one's you see stumbling down Oxford Road on a Saturday night. All the other hard-working and determined students, are doing assignments, or researching to help pass their degree. Don't tarnish every student with the same brush.

Funny, when I came out of education, I started my own business and paid off my student debt within a few small years.

Anyway, the thing that most prospective students should be worrying about is the graduate tax/increase in interest rates on the loan after they graduate, not the actual increase in tuition fees.
