I understand that, but its a separate issue which doesn't affect the Leicester game moving. The order which United play the home and away leg is irrelevant to this, whats important is which teams are playing on the Tuesday 7th May.But if both city and United progress we would both be home first and UEFA wont allow that on the same week. So United automatically moves their Home Game to 7th/8th if they qualify.
QF1 AJAX JUVE
QF2 LIVERPOOL PORTO
QF3 CITY SPURS
QF4 BARCA UNITED
Team 1 Agg. Team 2 1st leg 2nd leg
Winners of quarter-final 3 SF1 Winners of quarter-final 1 30 Apr – 1 May 7–8 May
Winners of quarter-final 4 SF2[A] Winners of quarter-final 2 30 Apr – 1 May 7–8 May
Notes
- ^ Should Manchester City and Manchester United qualify for the semi-finals, the order of legs will be reversed with Manchester United instead hosting the second leg.
If we are playing on Tuesday 7th May, there is no change to Leicester.
If its not Liverpool or United (eg Juve/Ajax v City Spurs, or even Barca v Porto) then there is no change to the Leicester game.
If it is Liverpool and/or United, then they can't play on the Sunday in the league. If either of them are playing on the Tuesday it means we definitely aren't (either we're out of the Champions League or are playing the following night on Wednesday 8th May), so our game against Leicester could move to the Sunday.
