TV Series

The Mandalorian is some decent rubbish. It's like taking too many exstacy pills. WTF was that bit at the end with the one with the rocket giving him a salute? All that killing as well. The message and the whole Mandalorian cult thing seems really muddled by the end. Honestly, I'm thinking about a lobotomy just so I can enjoy it to the fullest. 7/10 (10/10 if you are aged 7-10)

BSG / Outlander creator's Apple TV exclusive 'For All Mankind' is getting into its stride at the five episode mark. In an alternative 1969, Russia beats the US to the moon. Nasa have to respond with a change in direction. It's a bit quiet at points, but turns out to be a very satisfying and well produced series with an acute eye for historical atmosphere, and opens out lots of social issues rather than hammers home a slogan. There's tension, adventure and spectacle, and well written characters being carefully explored in an effortless and engaging way that puts most of the one dimensional stars of TV and Movie to shame. Closer to Outlander than BSG, but more measured than either, it might well be a little on the slow side, especially in the early episodes. Still an 8/10.

Also seems like His Dark Materials got miles better after a naff first episode.

Still, it's all about Watchmen. Ep 05 exceded expectations. Jeremy Irons is absolutely tearing it apart as Ozymandias. Can't wait for tomorrows episode.

The Mandalorian is comfortably better than any of the star wars films

I would say better than all SW films that came after the original trilogy. Overall, however, I find it really poor despite being closer to the original 'feel' of those first 3 films - instead feels a bit like what I feared/expected with Favreau. Zero story

Ultimately, ironic that Disney wants to revive a Star Wars franchise that is, basically, a story of scattered resistance against a monopolistic empire.

Spot on.

It's watchable and looks great but that's about it.

My Kodi add ons aren't picking up any TV shows at the moment. Does anyone have any suggestions for adds ons that are working please?

Same with mine, though I was told to add alvin and it worked.

Mandalorian is good as others have said

Also rick and morty is back on

Just finished Into the Badlands S3, (Amazon Prime), loved it, gutted that ANC cancelled the 4th series, with what happened at the end, it would have had so much scope to expand and carry on delivering.

Emily Beecham is lovely in it, and Daniel Wu is quality, Nick Frost providing the humour!

Read much about this series, mostly on here... anyone know when it will be on a platform that is accessible without a dodgy box?
