It says "multiple formats" on the product details.

But on some websites it says only Region 1...

What DVD player have you got? you can unlock 99% of them to be region free with a few presses of the remote control.
Just google 'unlock region' and then the make and model of your player.
Region coding is the biggest swizz ever, even more so when you discover how ridiculously easy it is to remove

Thanks bud!

It's stupid how the UK DVD releases don't have the uncut version but the US do.. PC gone mad!

Just watched the 5th episode of Happy Valley.

It really is top class, very realistic and very tense,Sarah Lancashire is fantastic in the lead.

Penny dreadful,watched the 2nd earlier,getting better!

Amazed no-one else has mentioned Happy Valley on this entire site. A self contained masterpiece I thought. And you're right about Sarah Lancashire. If she doesn't get a BAFTA for that, there's summat wrong with the world. Come a long way since "je m'appelle Racquel".

Only caught a couple of later episodes but my wife watched the whole thing. I saw enough to conclude at the end of the final episode that Sarah L would get a BAFTA.

I will watch series 2 from the off.

Still on BBC i-player and Virgin TV catch up/on demand, OB1, if you have the time. Well worth it. Not really the type of series for leching, but it's got my current favourite 4 tissue fantasy girl, Charlie Murphy, in it too. She was in The Village as well, which was also worth a gander.

And by way of further recommendation, have you tried The Killing USA? All 3 seasons on Netflix, with the 4th and final season starting Aug 1st. Dark, but quality

The Original Danish version of the killing is far superior IMO, also on Netflix!!!!

Only seen 2 seasons of the US Killing, but I would agree that the Danish one is miles better.

Charlie Murphy is also in Irish series Love/Hate. The first season was shown on 5 a while ago and prompted me to get the box sets of later series. It has been billed by some as an Irish version of The Wire, but mainly I think because Aiden Gillan is in it. It's about drug dealing scrotes in Dublin, and is pretty violent. Robert Sheehan from Misfits is in it too.
