Haven't seen True Detective mentioned, maybe it has but the thread is so big hard to go threw even a small portion. Brilliant detective/serial killer show in the Silence of the Lambs model. Very dark, and will keep you guessing.

We're part way through Twin Peaks, into S2 now, and I have ZERO idea wtf is going on.

Twin peaks was great and nothing was like it at the time or since
I've watched it all a couple of times and still got confused but loved it and you do find out who killed her in the end

Boardwalk Empire is fantastic!

I wasn't sure whether Steve Buscemi would work in that kind of role but he's perfect for it.

Shame they're only doing 5 series.

What DVD player have you got? you can unlock 99% of them to be region free with a few presses of the remote control.
Just google 'unlock region' and then the make and model of your player.
Region coding is the biggest swizz ever, even more so when you discover how ridiculously easy it is to remove

Going to be starting series 2 of Orange Is The New Black when the little one is asleep. Great 1st series with lots of lesbians in prison.

For those that mentioned True Detective. It's the best thing I've ever seen on TV. Pisses on LOST, Sons of Anarchy and Blacklist which I think are amazing.
