I did say ep1 was a struggle, but I kept on to ep2 to give it a fair shake. It improved because it moved on from the usual army ops storyline.

Thanks for the heads up…onto episode 2 which is a lot better

I really enjoyed episode 5 though - although it was a one-off and very reminiscent of the original film so probably why i liked it.

Been watching The Wire again, still love it...before S5 anyway but even that wasn't bad. Glad I first saw it when it originally came out & I didn't know the actors, now every bloody ad break has McNulty advertising Nationwide or Stringer Bell advertising Sky!!

Finished season 2 of Downton Abbey. Why didn't I watch this before its great.

We have just watched first two episodes of Wednesday (Series 2). Thought it was suffering from second season syndrome at first :D but actually laying quite a few plotlines. When child actors grow older it tends to lose a bit of natural behaviour. Jenna Ortega seems to have lost a bit of her authenticity whilst Catherine Zeta Jones is owning it a bit so far.

Oh dear, just watched episode 1 (Series 2) and it feels like just a vehicle for one liners from Jenna Ortega with the odd chance for someone else. Tell me it gets better as I loved series 1?
