TV Series

I watched a few of those being a fan of Morse years ago, I gave up due to the second rate acting. John Thaw would be turning in his grave.
Second rate?
Roger Allam is one of our greatest living actors.
The section where he interacted with his family over their son going AWOL from the army was superbly done.

Greatest living actors ? Don't think so mate, what movie's has he starred in ? You're comparing him to the likes of Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Christian Bale .... not in a million years.

I think actors work in more than just films tbf.

He has worked relentlessly on the stage in theate for decades, as for films, V for Vendetta, Mr Holmes, The Wind that Shakes the Barley, tamara drewe are a few that comes to mind

Binge watched it over a couple of nights mate, wasn't sure it would be my thing, but it's really really good and highly recommended, kind of like a "Running man/Prisoner" hybrid, not sure but maybe a second series will follow.

Ps, I watched it with the dubbed English and found it better personally.
Enjoying this and a couple of the actors seem familiar .
Think a few were in Monkey Magic
Back in the day.

North Water is ok but fuck me I wish Stephen Graham would just stick to his native tongue.
He goes from Barnsley to Bootle in almost every scene he's in.
Was awful as a Welsh copper in another drama recently.
Edit.
It's soon fixed.
