It's Cell Block H but with prettier dykes. I've told you what to watch and you don't take any notice.

Yeah but you watch shit ;) I'm not that dykie if I'm honest and prison dramas suck balls ! I tried to watch prison break and it was soooooo shit.

Best suggestion you had was that I watch "Odd Thomas". Now what a hidden gem that film was and I often think of it and I think "wow Stony really nailed it with that film"

I saw it on netflix and dodged it for weeks. I finally gave in and watched it and really enjoyed it. I even downloaded the ebooks. They're not bad, but get a bit samey when you get past 5 or 6.
I hope they do a sequel.

I cried at the end stony.....you made me cry

I will love you always for that !

We have the last 2 episodes of Breaking Bad to watch over the New Year (yes, I know, we are a bit late to it).
I swear to God if I find out how it ends, through any medium whatsoever, I will kill someone.
Want to watch something else after this. Is The Fall as good as people say?

It was all Walt JR's dream, he wakes up and goes for breakfast, he chooses to have a bowl of cereal.

The Winchester ?

You could always give the books a go, I think there's about ten of them. In the books, Elvis is more than a cardboard cutout in his bedroom. He even gets a ghost dog.

I started it but got as far as him stowing away on his dads boat. It all seemed a bit shit tbh. I may give it another go as long as there are no vampires in it.

That's about 10 minutes into episode 1 haha

My attention span isn't what it used to be. I shall give it another go.

I gave it a bit longer and I'm loving it, got through 5 episodes so far, no6 coming up in about an hour.
Cheers Bob.

Told ya

On a more serious note I continued with lost girl. I just can't stop watching the slutty succubus

Because I am incredibly lazy and can't be bothered to read the thread, can you recommend a series for me to get into? I loved West Wing and more recently Good Wife, Scandal and Suits. I don't want anything that will require me to think too deeply or be horrified.
Thanks :-)

I havent watched Scandal, might give it a go, but the other 3 you mention i like. The one that surprised me was the good wife, started watching with little expectation and didnt expect it to be so well written and acted.

House of Cards might suit you as you seem to like political intrigue type shows, its a remake of the British series of the 80s, Kevin Spacey plays Frank Underwood who is snubbed for the role of vice president so goes about plotting and scheming to get what he wants, first 2 series have been very good, third series starts in Feb.

There are others such as Breaking Bad and The wire which are 2 of the best shows ever IMO. Breaking Bad won all sorts of awards, brilliantly written and acted, about a chemistry teacher who gets cancer and decides to provide for his family when he's dead by cooking meth. The Wire is about Baltimore and how drugs effects all walks of life, expertly written, well acted (didnt win awards which was a crime) by a largely unknown cast, but its a show that had so many really good characters, its actually daft how many there are.
