TV show Wolf Hall (which covers the Hilary Mantel books "Wolf Hall" and "Bring Up the Bodies") was filmed as 2 x 3 part mini series.
The next and final series takes the story through to its conclusion.
Due to other commitments of the main actors and the death of poor Hilary who was a Co producer on the show it has taken several years to get this season off the ground.

Do you reckon aunt Lydia I’d gonna go full circle and rebel against Gilead ? . Thought the new season started slow but it finished really strong .

Same.
I'm convinced there was only one season (and I've read the reply over 1 & 2 filmed together but does this refer to the books).
One of the greatest British productions I've ever seen.
