TV Series

Watched Before we die on C4 a few weeks ago, I was blown away. I hadn't watched season one but quickly picked up the main points.

It's about an organised crime gang in Bristol and the game of bluff and double bluff they play with the police unit investigating them.

Lesley Sharp (is a Blue) and Vincent Regan are the police while the Croatian crime gang is headed up by Kazia Pelka. The series I think is about the dynamic between these women and what lengths they'll go to to protect their families......

I think it's nice to see the character development especially for Pelka where in season one her son's the main guy, to her transformation as hard as nails crime boss.

I don't watch much TV I prefer films generally but I binge watched both series of Before we die. Some very impressive performances by the cast, worth watching on catch up All4.

Finished watching a series called The Glory last night, 16 episode Korean series on Netflix, think someone on here may have mentioned it a while ago.

Really enjoyed it, although at times very difficult to keep up with what was going on, as without wanting to sound racist (which is pretty much impossible) everyone has a similar sounding name and at times they flick between past and present and a few of the characters look rather similar, lol, so it can get slightly confusing.

Once me and the missus had decided it was easier to just go with the flow and not get too caught up with trying to work out what the fuck was going on, it was actually really enjoyable and a great watch.

Thoroughly recommend, a good solid 8.5/10 from me.

Bit racist that post. Reported.

Rushing through season 1 of the Rookie.
Enjoying it
Exciting American series about 3 Rookies on their first year on the force.

Bookmarked. Cheers.

I was told about this a few weeks ago but forgot all about it.

Just watched series 2 of Yellowjackets. Started it yesterday and finished it this morning. Loved it. 9/10
Really well done and some great acting performances too.
What are you watching this on?
It jumped off NOW TV - last I knew it was on Paramount + (which I don't have).

Watching blackbird on apple tv, have to say it's very good so far. I think we're about four of five in, and really enjoying it. It's made me pity and then hate Larry all in a few hours. Based on true events too, which makes it harder to comprehend.

We've had a free trial of apple tv and , so are, have to say it's been worth it. Not even got to foundation, severance or ted lasso yet.

I thought Blackbird was brilliant, really rated it. Some fantastic performances in the cast and it's crazy that it's based on a true story.

The show itself goes on far too long but James Spader is always worth watching. I'm currently halfway through season 10 (the final one).

How did that get 10 seasons? I remember watching Season 1 and thinking they ran out of steam on Episode 6
