TV Series

Not for me.

I "digest" more than enough to come to my own conclusions and perceptions. Literally being thrown in at the deep end character wise does not help. The pilot could easily be mistaken for a run of the mill episode halfway through any season.

I personally don't find it clever, cute in any attempt to be funny but just a crudley drawn cartoon with annoying voices that just jams a bunch of wierd things in for the sake of it as it stands. It's a time killer at best from my point of view, sorry if that doesn't meet your omnipotent approval. I thought it was each to their own, which is why I stress how it's my personal view unlike some...

I have no problem with you disagreeing with me, just don't try and pass your opinion as the be all and end all.

Not sure why you're being a Super Prick in your response. Did I attack your personality somewhere??

I didn't criticise your viewpoint before, merely explained that I saw a lot in the animation.

But, well, now...

Your response is like being critical of "Reservoir Dogs" cos it starts at the canteen hold up. You seem to need a beginning, middle and end for your 'enjoyment'. That's fine.

But, I take it you didn't mind being dumped into the middle of a dysfunctional family, like 'The Simpsons'? In fact they aptly sum up everything you seem to hate with this show, especially in the beginning!

That's your bag, man.

Sorry Bigga it slaughtered me and I like most animated comedy from The Simpsons,Family Guy,American Dad and The King Of The Hill. But this series isn't entertainment for me it's hard work.

That's fair enough.

I felt the same way, in the beginning, but I decided to stick with it until I felt I knew what angle the writers were coming from (it helps that I watched Dan Harmon's 'Community' before this came along).

Only then, did I stop thinking 'WTF' about it!

I'm watching the entire 5 series of the wire again

Midway through the first series and forgot just how good it really is...pisses on all the new pretenders to the throne (Pardon the pun)

I loved it, but I thought it tailed off considerably by the last series.

Think the writers strike in the US effected the last series, it was rushed and shorter than all the others. The wire remains the standard barer for me, better than Breaking Bad and the other pretenders. Can't think of a series that has so many awesome characters, Bunk, Omar, Stringer, McNulty, Freeman, Daniels, bubbles, Avon, Boadie, Michael, snoop, marlo, prospect Joe, Frank, Cutty, D, Keema, Carv, Huck and others are all good enough to carry a lesser program.

I recently watched it again and went through it almost as quickly as I did the first time.

When you attempt to talk down to people and try to pass your opinion on such a subjective matter as fact then you're an utter weapon.

You did take condescending digs and you know it, no matter how vague you think they may have been or how much you seem to think you "digest" things others don't....

Christ, TV is as subjective as you get so disagree all you like; not a problem. Just don't talk down to some for doing so.

And I think the Simpsons sucks donkey balls.

Get. A. Fucking. Grip.

People miss elements of shows all the time.

I didn't get everything on the first viewing nor was I used to a lead character being such a hard boiled, vicious and selfish cnut, but that all adds to it. For me.

Which is what probed me to ask about how much 'you guys' digested. It was not a personal attack, it was self reflective.

But, you clearly feel so embattled in your little life, that every sentence has a fooking hidden agenda!

Watched first episode of Hand Of God great pilot and leaves you wanting more..

"A morally-corrupt judge suffers a breakdown and believes God is compelling him onto a path of vigilante justice."
