I suppose it's which eyes are watching.....
As a stand alone series, one would of been more than enough.... Stretching out the story to meet a false narrative, kind of defeats the purpose..... I blame Oliver stone (:
Like I said, enjoyed it, however, it certainly isn't as good when you know more of the history, in fact, I feel cheated!!!!
Thats exactly it, I think having some idea of the story and how he came to his end, made me think it was going to be a 1 series thing from where they were after about 8 episodes. They could have wrapped it up with a couple more episodes at a similar pace and the show would be a 9/10 or 10/10 for me.
