TV Series

'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert'.

I was excited about this, originally, but almost a month in and we're watching 'The Colbert Report' on a major network. I hoped for something different and feel, somewhat, disappointed but should have gone with my initial feeling just before it aired.

I love what Colbert offers in the talkie format, anyway, and shouldn't have expected it to move too much from a winning formula, but convinced myself he would, especially after saying 'he wanted to be himself' cos he was getting tired of the 'Report'.

Strange u-turn.

Dunno why I wanted to have a look at thus show, but I'm glad I did...

'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' has one of the funniest 1st episodes I have seen in a long long time!

Maybe cos I didn't know what to expect I gave it a shot and stayed with it as it rolled on. A left field moment, here and there, wasn't enough to put me off, so we'll see how the series progresses!

Just watched season 1 episode 1 of "Fargo".

Very interesting if somewhat a frustrating character played by Freeman, a very interesting show though.
Right now i am a bit "huh, what the fuck did i just watch" but in a good way.

Just finished sopranos, gone back to finish last 2 seasons of Dexter now, been recommended limitless, walking dead and blacklist

There is only 1 good thing about the last 2 series of Dexter (Yvonne Strahovski) and its one of the worst endings to any show I've ever seen, really let the whole thing down for me as up until the last 2 series it was one of the best things I've ever watched.

Going to watch limitless myself, but the Blacklist (James Spader is brilliant) and The walking dead are still going and brilliant stuff IMO.

Stick with it Guy, its a good show, quite quirky and Billy Bob Thornton and Freeman are very good in it, Freeman is supposed to be frustrating and awkward, which he does well. I enjoyed it far more than the film which I thought was overhyped at the time.
