TV Series

Just finished watching the pilot for Legion and it's probably the best pilot I've watched in ages. Based on the Marvel comics character Legion which I don't know much about besides him being Charles Xavier's son. The filming, the editing, the acting were top notch and I loved the way it dealt with mental illness and having an unreliable narrator and the weird flow of time. Can't wait for the next episode.

Well i have no idea what is going on, i like it but fuck knows whats going on.

I love that. It's why I like Mr Robot so much as well. You have an unreliable narrator so you're not sure what to believe and what not to.

ats why I dislike it so much. If I want to make up my own story and see if it matches the script I can do that with any program I like.

It's just a cheap way to keep a plot running. Simply mislead the audience as often as possible.

Yeah, but that's what's not happening here.

In 'Legion', the character 'David' is telling the story from a position of 'waking up', not 'still in the fuzz'. In fact, he's embraced the mania.

I can't see any reviews for the walking dead from the weekend???

Anyway, it's the beginning of the end in my opinion..... I'll see it out but it's taking the common theme of becoming lazy....The actors don't even look arsed anymore!!

This episode is like life and how people stop you realising your full potential, by keeping you where you are.

Once you know who you are, who can stop you...??
That is what i got from it, especially the pretty lady talking about it in the circle talk thing. What did confuse me is where the hell is he, was that in his head, is that lass with dark hair real, why did he wake in a pool tied up with an entire electric grid ready to kill him. I don't even know if pen face is real xD

I know, it's a little confusing and it's meant to be like that!

There's no time span, no difference between alive and dead or conscious and subconscious!!

The underlying theme of acceptance, is excellent, in the first episode.

I love it!
Fair do's i can handle that, i'll just accept timelines are fucked and enjoy the show.
