TV Series

x3 - first two series were incredible. Wagner Moura plays the part so well. I saw an interview with him, where he explained that he had to learn Spanish and put on a load of weight. Somebody obviously saw how great an actor he was and decided that they could overlook the fact that he couldn't yet speak the lingo, but he must have the role.

Javier Pena is one cool mo-fo !

Whilst I'm still trying to get into 'The Blacklist', I've noticed that there's now 'The Blacklist: Redemption' out. It's up to ep 3 and I can see this stuff turning into 'NCIS/ Law & Order' type milking!!
Whilst i have with vigour promoted Blacklist to anyone who will listen, Blacklist and Redemption is akin to CSI Dukinfield and CSI original comparisons.

Half of the last series of the original seemed aimed at selling the new show.

A story that fascinated me is now a documentary.

'The mystery of the man on the moor'

Story of the investigation into the body of a dead man found on Saddleworth moor with no ID.

Next Wednesday at 10pm Channel 4

Don't!!

Right now, all you're seeing is the power of Haller contained for his own safety in his head.

They're unlocking the padlocks!

I can sadly see it being cancelled. The live ratings aren't amazing. It's got critical praise, it's got word of mouth from those of us that have seen it but I dunno if that's enough to keep it on the air. What is frustrating is if this show was on Netflix or HBO everyone would be going nuts over it.

Just a shames there's only 6 episodes in a series

Yes and no, it keeps it fresh and you wanting more. It also allows the actors to do other stuff so they will keep coming back.

The writer has said he sees another 3 or 4 series if the BBC will commission them and that Cillain Murphy is up for it, its basically Tommy's story, he said he envisions the ending he will be Sir Thomas and it will be, of course dramatic, at the outbreak of WWII, so the story basically goes from WWI to WWII.

I'm pretty certain from watching this trailer that cillian is playing the role of tommy Shelby. The movie is called Dunkirk

Is that legit, as there are 2 shots straight from Peaky Blinders, the one with the cut over his eye is the end of series 2 when he gets out of the grave.

Already been tipped to be the big film at the Oscars next year.

It would be brilliant if it was tommy Shelby. I'm doubting the trailer myself now
