Once you have finished that jump onto Better Call Saul. personally I found that a better series than BB.

I don't know why it’s taken me so long to start "The Man in the High Tower " on Amazon.
Really enjoying it and smashed through the first series in no time.

There has been a multitude of films and dramas on the Tudors and I stayed well clear of this for assuming the reasons you state.Channel 5 Anne Boleyn. Terrible stuff. If you are going to be controversial and cast a Black Anne Boleyn you better make sure the script is a good one. Some of the worst scripting, leaden acting and inaccurate historical drama ever witnessed. Slow and cringe enduring.
The Other Boleyn was terrible too and I stayed clear of The Tudors with Rhys whatisface.
Wolf Hall on the other hand was brilliant
I think Breaking Bad is the best tv series ever made, that’s even better on a rewatch. But with Better Call Sauk I have tried to get into it many times but I just can’t.I second that.

After enjoying watching Mare of Easttown I've started to rewatch the 4 seasons of the excellent Canadian Crime Drama Cardinal (Billy Campbell & Karine Vanasse) again.

I was a bit like that and didn't really get it but the longer it progresses the more it becomes a prelude to Breaking bad, the last series is more like BB than BCS.
The only flaw imo is that Mike is getting no younger and this is supposed to be pre BB and a younger Mike, it's getting harder for the producers to pull it off.

Yeah the story lines in the earlier series do go on and on and become a bit drawn out but it does get better as it progresses. So much so it starts to morph into BB.I liked the first series but lasted 2 or 3 epidodes of the 2nd

Just watched the first episode of Time starring Sean Bean. Gritty but good telly.
Going to watch them all tomorrow. Really like the look of this.

Ive developed the BCS test over the last few years and its done me well. Its genius telly, perfectly made, carefully made, perfectly acted and clever as fuck. Those that dont get it deserve to watch repeats of Fast and Furious franchise as thats what they are probably suited to. I’ve just watched something called SWEET TOOTH on Netflix. I actually really enjoyed it.
I will def be looking out for season 2.
