TV Series

Seems odd considering he sat down with them and fully cooperated with the show. I feel like he just loves the attention
Claims he was unaware that it was going to be a full documentary. Certainly craves attention.

Copy from paper.

"Ian Bailey’s legal team will examine if he has a case against a Netflix production if they use an interview he gave them.

The former journalist has sent a second letter to the team behind a new documentary which examines Sophie Toscan du Plantier’s murder nearly 25 years on. Mr Bailey said he will be “seeking substantial damages in Europe and the USA” if the production refuses to delete the “offending parts” and “references” to him.

Mr Bailey insists he agreed to sit down for an interview to be used as a “teaser” and not in the documentary itself."

Watching Bosch on Amazon Prime - final season now airing.

WTF is up with the camera work? In the first episode, many scenes were very dark and washed out in black, colorless tones. And in some of the indoor shots, actors were poorly lit - you could hardly see their faces.

Worst camera work by far of any recent series I've watched.

I like Bosch quite a lot - but the poor camera work and wooden acting in this season's first episode has me wondering... the 2nd episode has improved though so I'm hoping that the premier is simply an abberation.

Seemed alright on my T.V. Do you have a crappy T.V?

Not watched Bosch (just started the 2nd book) but The Expanse (I think it was that one) was the same on Prime through the TV. I've watched others which had the same issue, it's sometimes bad enough to make you quit watching.

I've no idea how Apple TV works but are you using the App built in to TV or one on the Apple TV box? (presuming there is one)
I'm streaming through Apple TV - it's a streaming device similar to Roku and whatnot. You connect it to your TV via an HDMI port - and then use the Apple TV device to stream. Your TV, at that point, simply displays what Apple TV streams.

LG OLED TV's are smart devices - meaning that they are capable of streaming content on their own, without an attached streaming device. LG has an operating system - WebOS - along with a rich assortment of apps and is well capable of streaming content on its own without an attached streaming device.

I'm using Apple TV because I perceived that the Apple remote control is better (now highly debatable IMO) as are the apps on Apple TV (also debatable).

I've just had a quick Google (the very first page was complaining about The Expanse :( ) and we're not alone in struggling with Prime being too dark, it seems to be related to HDR but I'll leave you to do your own research on that maybe.

I did find this which may help:-

Thanks for the heads up.

I decided to give the Loki series a watch this weekend.

Marvel have pulled a Steven Moffat masterclass here. Each episode moves along at a crawl, the series plot seems to change every 10 minutes, and all the energy of the episode is spent in making an exciting cliffhanger to ensure you watch the next episode. I'm not 100% sure even this hyper flanderized Loki is a worthwhile lead character, really.

The last paragraph had me chortling!

"Wooden acting" has happened from ep 1 of the whole thing for me!

It's on free to air here in Oz and I never noticed that.
Must be your Prime.

Just done 'Tom' (Anthony Mackie) and 'Peg' (Helen Mirren).

Very good episodes and a mark up from 'Leah' (Anne Hathaway).

Whilst the second ep was great (didn't know Mackie had it in him for emotional range, even though a little stunted), the third with Mirren is an absolute masterclass!!

She's an unexpected tour de force and you can't stop being engaged in her performance!

So impressed!
