My mate is driving Phillip Glenister and David Threfall around Greater Manchester for a series initially called “The Passenger”. He’s an Oldham fan but said both actors are top lads, no pretentious behaviour at all, bit of a City connection, David a blue and Phillip a City fan in Life on Mars!!

I thought S1 of that was great..........but it got too weird for me and I gave up on S2.Finished watching Mr Mercedes season 1. Read the book and it stayed on course up to a point. Trying to rewrite a Stephen King for Tv is pointless. Anyway, worth a watch. Second season doesn’t follow the book order so will have to wait until I get round to finishing the trilogy.
Just finished all 5 seasons of Handmaids Tale. Fantastic.

Second episode of Black Mirror 'Loch Henry' , much much better, loved it.First episode of the new Black Mirror.
Let's hope it improves massively because that was fucking shite.
Just watched the final 4 episodes of Succession.
Very powerful stuff, the writing and acting was excellent.
However, as much as I thought the ending was good I expected a bit more.
Can't say any more as it might spoil it for those that haven't seen it.

After my son telling me how amazing it is we have started this and are 3 episodes in. ImJust watched the final 4 episodes of Succession.
Very powerful stuff, the writing and acting was excellent.
However, as much as I thought the ending was good I expected a bit more.
Can't say any more as it might spoil it for those that haven't seen it.

Its ok! Im just not buying into the characters. I know that they arent meant to be likable, im just not finding them credible.

Yes, the characters are unlikeable but I did enjoy it. The terrifying this is it's not hard to believe (think it's based on the Murdoch empire).
It's not the greatest series ever, but it's well written and acted.

These shows are usually good when you're learning the characters and stories but they soon get tiresome and the whole show became repetitive. The last two series was just people constantly changing their minds, there was nothing clever about it at all. Same with 'Ten pound poms' which I was really looking forward to but I couldn't take to any of the characters. Although I did watch part of the second episode to see if it had improved. But nah, just as bad.
