TV Series

Having seen your recommendation, thought I would give it a try. Thought the first three episodes were okay but wasn't overly impressed.

All that changed with episode 4.

You are right. It's wonderful. Just started Season 2.
Glad you said that, have done the first two episodes and well I was pretty underwhelmed to say the least. Will keep going and see if I can get into it if it picks up.

Started watching doctor death, three episodes in. Jesus it’s mental, more like a butcher just allowed to have a go at surgery. It’s watchable.

Almost reeled in.
Anybody got any feedback on Hijack, the new series on Apple? I watched the free episode last night — they're clever at what they do, aren't they? — and I must say I was really drawn in. I can watch Idris Elba in virtually anything he's in — it strikes me that if you wanted to invent a black Jason Statham, he'd be it, right there.
And one thing that's very cunning and thought through is the way they go through what everybody who's ever been on any commercial flight whatsoever has been through and can recognise instantly, right down to the most banal details, unlike most hijack movies, that can't be bothered with that. So when it kicks off you are right in the nightmare and you identify with everybody that's just an innocent passenger. You're really tense, in fact.
Don't tell me what happens. Just tell me if it's worth pursuing, if you have pursued it. I don't much want to take out a subscription. I hate it when these companies make you do that. They rely on you not cancelling, because there's just about enough to keep you paying. But what you originally paid for was what motivated you.

Pretty much the best TV show he's done.

Maybe I should say acting part? That's subjective, but definitely TV show.

He's 'believable' enough in the role.

It's a very Australian type show, Mr Inbetween but absolutely wonderful. No spoilers but the ending was spot on too :)

I wonder if Sheridan is similar in real life to what he's like in the show?

Still, I'm enjoying the end of Yellowstone. I like 1923 and the 18 whatever one too
Sheridan is by all accounts an ego maniac now. Don’t think any the characters he plays he’s acting! Love Yellowstone 1923 was great in moments as well.

Can’t fuckin stand the way he sits and rides his horse, I know exactly why he does it, it’s simply posing and ‘holding himself’ to show off the most what little muscle he’s got, always comes across as a vain little wanker, still love the show though.
