Slow Horses is excellent. Season 3 was a bit OTT but enjoyable. Think it's 4 out now.

only one thing to watch now if you haven't already and that's Spy with Sasha baren Cohen, it will provide a little onsite into the lengths Israel go to, great tv and a true story

What am I missing?
I thought it was a good old fashioned, gentle British comedy.
Not the sort programme I’ll probably ever watch a second time. Or have in any list of all time great shows.
But thoroughly enjoyable all the same.
Clearly not for everyone.

3 episodes in. I think I'm enjoying it.Severance is brilliant. Something completely different for a change.

I watched a couple of episodes and lost interest. Might go back and have a look.

It's a series with a gentle amble, an easy watch that's well acted with a decent story running through it. For me it wasn't a side splitting situation comedy but a very English setting of summer and the outdoors.

'The Outlaws' on BBC is absolutely brilliant. Funny, but equally thrilling and edgy. Highly recommend!

I have read most of Mick Herrons books (on to Bad Actors now and all the ‘Oxford’ series) and I find them a really strange enjoyable read. The question is - do I start watching ‘Slow Horses’ or will I find them a disappointment? I always like to read the book before the film as I then see it as I want to see it and not as someone else sees it.

But Early Doors is rolling round on the floor in bits hilarious and this, just isn’t.

She's Diana Riggs daughter, not that it makes a difference.Not sure mate. It just seems to drift by. It’s not funny, it’s not poignant, the characters all seem a bit beige and the main guy’s wife is annoying as fuck.
It doesn’t leave me itching to watch the next one or needing to binge it.
Does it suddenly click into gear at some point?
As someone said earlier it has a cult following, metal detectorists and Triumph TR7 owners.
