TV Series

Best time in boxing for me although I loved the Eubank Benn Watson Collins period as well.
I was at the two Eubank Collins fights.
I got rightly pissed at the first one in Millstreet.
I was staying at a friend's house which was about 3 miles outside the town. I was walking home to it in the early hours of the morning and fell into a ditch. I got myself together and continued walking. About an hour later I spotted bright lights and realised I was back in Millstreet again, after leaving it about 2 hours earlier.

There is a very good film/ documentary released recently on the Collins Eubank fight

Loved Eubank

I was in the minority:-)

Been watching DNA Journey

Enjoyed the first one with the two from 'life on mars'

Second one I enjoyed it's was Sue Johnson and Ricky Tomlinson. I had to try very hard to ignore all the Liverpool fc mentions. Both saying they are big Liverpool fans etc but the thing that really pissed me of was the car they were being driven round in. The car number plate was LFC I mean talk about bending over backwards to get as much lfc in the program as possible.

Next week its fucking James Nesbit so I'll probably give that a miss as it will be a rag love in.

Shame as its a nice program and should keep football out of it.

Slow Horses on Apple TV is definitely worth a months free trial. Gary Oldman is great in it, there are a few shocks here and there but it's also good fun
A few? Im 5 episodes in and me and the wife have both sat there and gone 'fucking hell!!!!' about 4 times already. One of those series i just want to watch the next one.

I have read most of Mick Herrons books (on to Bad Actors now and all the ‘Oxford’ series) and I find them a really strange enjoyable read. The question is - do I start watching ‘Slow Horses’ or will I find them a disappointment? I always like to read the book before the film as I then see it as I want to see it and not as someone else sees it.
I read all of the books before the TV series and loved them, the TV adaptation is possibly the best adaption of a book I've seen. Watch the series and then read the books or vice versa, you won't be disappointed.

Just finished rewatching Broadchurch seasons 1-3: a murder mystery starring David Tennant as the lead investigator.

Apparently an American adaptation of Broadchurch called "Gracepoint" was made - I watched a few clips of Gracepoint on youtube - it's godawful, in spite of Tennant having the lead role.

Anyhow, Broadchurch is fantastic. Highly recommended.
