Rogue Heroes first series, on episode one, slow to be honest, does it get better ?
Also enjoying out there shows how easily these county lines get young people involved in them .Out There (ITV)
Quite gritty for ITV
Not bad 4 episodes in
I'm going to watch the 2012 series Alcatraz next

I got sick of the bully boy nonesense. I watched it til the end but it was a struggle. Put Paddy on mute a number of times. And the battles felt weak- like the SAS always seemed to choose the stupidest option. Maybe it's just cause I'm Irish but it all felt too much like the black and tans for my liking. It ended at the first episode of series 2 for me. It didn’t help that I only recently learned that the depiction of Paddy Mayne is an utter farce. It sort of ruined it for me.
Pity as I enjoyed the first series and had looked forward to the new season.
I thought it was awesome but like I said in a post a few weeks ago I found the cinematography annoying (too dark, dreary, close up - as opposed to enjoying the massive beautiful environment that they were in. I watched The Ballad of Billy Shruggs the other day again and the scenary is like another character).Anyone watched American Primeval on Netflix? Relentlessly brutal western series.
That's fine cheers, the lad has watched something that's Japan only (The Apprentice?) using the VPN so I'll maybe try that later.Sorry, bud. Got it on Netflix USA via a VPN.
Love it easily one of the best things in years.Quite enjoyed the traitors, for the main reason it’s one of the few series we watch as a family. Didn’t think the twist towards the end worked though, it just made everything that played out in the final episode inevitable.
Depending on the time of year it can be like that for a long time. I think it added to the overall atmosphere and doom and gloom of it allI thought it was awesome but like I said in a post a few weeks ago I found the cinematography annoying (too dark, dreary, close up - as opposed to enjoying the massive beautiful environment that they were in. Agreed. I tried to post similar on Friday night but couldn’t remember how to put text behind a spoiler, so sacked it.
That final twist could have worked out well under different circumstances but the way it played out pretty much killed the game and resulted in the last episode being a big anti- climax. As a result of that, the End Game was a bit of a non event also.
It all felt a bit uneasy as well. Everyone knows they’re playing a game and a big part of it is that people are lying. But I felt sorry for the contestant who was forced to lie to the face of somebody who knew they were lying. It was just uncomfortable rather than entertaining.
Shame really, because up until that point, it was easily the best series they’ve made, for me.
Amazing .....it s the best thing since S1 of true detective.American Primeval
