TV Series

Just about to watch the last two of the Agency.
I knew I had seen this story before (knew what was coming next sometimes) but couldn't place it.
It's a remake of The Bureau (French).

Black Snow - just watching S1 of 2 - crime, cold case drama set in northern queenland, stars travis fimmel (ragnor - Vikings) as the lead detective. think S2 is a different story. Rly good so far halfway in.
S1 was excellent. I'm halfway through S2 and love it. Yes it's a different story in the second and it's also angling towards him finding more out about his brother.

Top tv.

Homicide: life on the street is coming to Sky/Now mid Feb. It was remastered last year and shown on US version of Peacock.

If like me you missed it in the '90s, it's a brilliant show set in Baltimore based on a book by David Simon and seen as a precursor to The Wire.

Its been impossible to track down in HQ & I've downloaded the entire series in ropey quality but stopped watching when the remastered versions were first announced. Ep 5, Three men & Adena was a standout, one of the best episodes of tv I've seen.

I watched it all in the 90's.One of my all time favourites along with NYPD Blue.
Both make my top 10 of all time.
Always have a joint 1st place of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Early Doors.
Early doors I believe is still on the BBC iPlayer.

Silo season 2, I enjoyed it and didn’t think it was slow at all, loved the teaser ending, thankfully they’ve signed up for two more seasons so hopefully will end it properly

Steins;Gate - 2011 Anime - used to be on Netflix, but had to source it elsewhere for a rewatch.

Time travelling madness. Remember being blown away by this over 10 years ago. Thought it was about time to watch it again. Watched the first 10 episodes over the last couple of nights and thought maybe it wasn't as good as I remember. Then the 11th episode onwards have reminded me it is indeed fucking phenomenal.

Oh indeed.

Guilt.

Badly directed confusing Scottish drama, seems to borrow it's oeuvre from black comedic shows like Fargo.
The script veers between comedy and menace. The problem is the series falls between the two and is neither one nor the other.
It's an okay watch.. S1 is easily the superior one of the 3.
