misuse of instagram/tic toc- sexual images passing freely between young teenagers
online bullying is rife
physical bullying and actual violence
peer/gang pressure to commit crime
teachers unable to control classrooms
children with little respect for boundaries of conventional behaviour or respect for those in authority
truancy
stalking
drug misuse
alcohol misuse
spiked vapes and drink causing hospitalisation
toxic male behaviours towards females
toxic female behaviours towards males

Dont get me wrong, we were hardly angels when we were young but some of the stuff I have seen and heard is other level.

I could go on but won't.

I agree with all of that, most notably, the last line of that list. I think I was one of one or one of two to mention the toxic behaviour of females towards males in the original 'Adolescence' thread that got pulled.

The vast majority of the thread just blamed the boys. they don't understand the bleed through from social media into real life for young people. Right now, the female influencers that speak on the preferences for the males dating females are starting to wane, so there might be light at the end of the tunnel for the young over the next couple of years.

Lets hope so mate. Some girls are just as bad if not worse than the boys. It's thoroughly depressing.

Watched this last night. Very, very good.

The geezer playing the sex offender is some actor given the character he played in This City is Ours.

TBH I thought the lead actor was the weakest link. Just didn't seem believable. Maybe it was because I remembered him from that scouse gangster drama. The rest of the cast were great though especially Friel, the kids and that nun.
 
The Billy Joel And So It Goes two part documentary life of him has been brilliant a lot of it I never new about him and his family.. He wrote some great songs some never new he wrote..
 
Making my way through the series of ‘What We Do in the Shadows’. Brilliant show - I loved the first movie and can’t believe I took this long to follow it up.
 
Never watched the Sopranos, watching it now, up to episode 6 first series...does it get better ? so far i'm underwhelmed considering it's supposed to be this 'incredible' series and what's with the parts with his shrink ? Weird...

I gave up about where you are now, found it boring tbh....my son loves it though.

I really didn't like it.
