Just finished Goliath, it was quite good, I can see why Billy Bob Thorton got the golden globe as he is very good as the washed up lawyer taking on his old firm. Quite regimented beginning, middle and end, being a largely courtroom story it has a definitive ending when the case ends, with not much left up in the air. With its success however, I can see it getting another series, but not sure if it needs it. Going to start on Good Behavior next - even if they cant spell the fucking title, stupid septics, but its got an Essex girl in the lead role.

You can only imagine how much fun they had on set filming that, as you say well known for being a bastard so extra giggles. Gotta be a good egg to do that, not take yourself to seriously kinda thing. You hear some hollywood tossers being proper arseholes so nice to see not all crawl up their own arse.

Goliath is quality mate, Good Behavior is so far so good as well. My mate is half way through Chance says its good, so those suggestions of yours off the back of Quarry seem to be quality. The if you liked this you'll like section on IMDB is excellent way of finding new shit.

Cheers for that. I agree about the IMDB thing. I have 12 shows bookmarked on the laptop and I just found a few more.
I find that once you start watching these shows, all the same people start popping up.

I can see why Billy Bob Thornton won the golden globe for Goliath. Dont know if it will get a second series, probably due to its success, not like Quarry that was set up for another series and you can see there are lots of ways they can take that but Goliath was all sort of wrapped up at the end. Maybe a new court case for a second series.

Are you watching Taboo?? Probably the best thing currently on the box, been on the Beeb on Sat night over here.

Not watched it mate, there is plenty of other stuff out at the moment like Sneaky Pete, Quarry, Goliath(watched these 3 and would recommend) Chance, Good Behavior, that all have a better score of over 8 on IMDB and are worth a shout.

I looked at Shooter and thought it seemed a bit cheesy and predictable, is it a lot better than the film which was very average.
