Bit of a shame that the police were lying.It seems this started because someone on social media stated the police were involved and responsible for the crash/deaths.
The fact that no police officers were involved in any way shape or form shows how vile SM is and how stupid and gullible the public are.
It’s no excuse for the rioting and there’s no reason to believe the police were wrong in following the scooter, but the attempted cover up will be used by the scrotes to justify their behaviour and the police have been left looking like corrupt idiots.
Like with most things it’s not the original deed that ends people’s careers and puts people in prison but the lies and the cover up.

I think not lying just making a statement based on incomplete evidence that has bitten them on the arse.
Look it tragic two kids are dead but that little clip shows they had no helmets etc furthermore where did they get the e-scooter from? If it was bought by a parent how would they feel now?

I think you’re giving them too much credit. If they were following them they saw it happen and were on the scene straight away rather than coming across it a few minutes later. The spokesman wouldn’t have made the categorical statement he did without someone lying in the chain of command. Sounds like those riots about 10 years ago. Some drug dealer got shot in London by the police so every chav in the country used it as an excuse to go on the rob, if I remember correctly?

It depends what the public want-a lawless society where people do whatever they want with no consequences or police suppoorted in attempting to tackle what is a blight on many communities.
On a wider note, no amount of police, locking up kids for a few hours solves this-this is a direct consequence of the socio-economic problems, public funding, jobs, youth services etc etc-one only has to look back to the 80s when the same things happened.
None of this will of course prevent the usual shit stirring from the MSM.
