I remember his first match in charge. Never seen anything like it , didn't have a fucking scooby what was going on, one min Kolarov was in attack and the the next sec he was in defence and every player around him seemed to be doing something similar.

Absolute chaos - fucking loved it!

Is he the best to do the role, properly, in the modern era?

Absolutely, he goes with transforming us into the best club side ever seen, with a little help from his amigo…

He was scoffed at his vision during the Barca circa 2007 doc, he made the platform a reality and it’s plagiarised world wide; he was always going and stayed way beyond expectation, does his pal follow? I’d say yes but fuck me, a decade either side of what is the epitome of how to run a club!!!!

I hope when he exits the building he leaves behind his little black book of contacts and scouts.

Very good manager, who played a style that was perfect with the kind of players he had. He had nothing much in the way of a midfield, so he played a very fast game over the top and out to the wings. When Mané, Salah and Firmino were clicking, that worked a treat.
Would be a complete reversal of everything Pep-style football has built up over the last eight years (including Academy and lower, because the coaches at that level have all bought into it). Would make no sense at all.
Anyway, he's now got a job.

Lots being reported. Realistically only City and the club the dof is coming from know the news.

The Hugo Viana links make perfect sense and I feel like we have to plan for Txiki, Ferran and Peps inevitable exit and build another dynasty.

Yes, our whole club is structured around a DOF .Personnel may change the club structure won't.

Know nothing about him but buying cheap selling for a profit is a very different model to ours.We can't develop players the way they can, because basically we have to win all the time. Although we do do a bit of buying cheap and selling on the side.

It was more the fact he finds good quality players...anyway I think he went to Livarpool last year if my research is correct. Hopefully Khaldoon has a good portfolio of directors of football to choose from.
