Dzeko's had two poor seasons on the trot, past his best.

I don't know what you're talking about Soldado or Paulinho for.

They were sold for similar money. Yet no where near as good. Why? Because Spurs were not in a position where the whole football world knew they were desperate to sell.

We milk players away due to squad mismanagement.

The fact that Spurs got similar money for two total flops one older than Dzeko highlights perfectly just how weak a position we find ourselves in when it comes to negotiating outgoings.

Txixi hasn't pergormed with any distinction in any transfer window so far, and i'm afraid this is shaping up no different. Peps pulling power may be overstated too. One things certain though if we dont strengthen in the areas that need to be then we wont be winning fuck all. Peps not a miracle worker and this years league will be stronger than ever.

They were able to get good fees for the players they didn't want.

You know you've counted Dzeko's best season for us as an example of him being past his peak? He had one off season and we milked him away.

Spurs were in a strong position to negotiate, thus getting similar deals for much worse players.
