Sadly you're right. Soriano is doing a good job commercially- although he appears to have zero empathy with the fans - Txiki has been as poor. Txiki and Pep in 2009 (when Bobby arrived) probably would have resulted in no trophies, certainly no league titles. I really don't rate Txiki very highly and the jury now is out on Pep. Txiki did sign Fernandinho who was very much a part of the 2014 successes and KDB but I'm now doubting if he could have built a team from scratch like Bobby and Cook did.

I'm not privy to the internal workings of the club. What I can see is a severe decline of the standard of the playing staff since his arrival.
