Perhaps. But if Spurs, Everton, Liverpool and even the rags can do it, I'm not sure why we can't given that I keep hearing that our youngsters are tearing it up at all levels.

I also think fans (not all admittedly) would be more accepting of performances that we have all witnessed lately. As an example, when the youngsters got whacked by Chelsea in the cup, I hated the result but really enjoyed the passion that the lads showed. Obviously I'm not advocating we make those sort of wholesale changes, but one or two shouldn't affect the team too much in terms of results but potentially could lead to great benefits in the future.
Hey don`t get me wrong ... I would love to see more youngsters coming through and getting an opportunity, especially Garcia, who as I pointed out in another thread, must have been really pissed off to see two 30+ somethings playing against Everton in a position thats the same as he can play.I`ve also said that Maffeo should be starting.I think it was possible the correct thing in loaning our newest recruits from this season,to other leagues.
Sit tight friend,as I`m certain it will happen shortly.

I agree
. Young players will always get more of a chance and fans on their side, also it will make a refreshing change to see some new faces and it is hard to imagine worse results this season

Is it ? One good weekend of results from being level with Spurs and Dippers, in joint second.. Last 16 of C/L. Still in FA cup. I find it very easy to imagine worse.

I don't think Kolarov, Fernando and Zabeleta have been particularly crucial to our season so far and I could easily see Garcia, Maffeo and Tosin contributing something - yes, the senior player have had the odd good game, but they have had some shockers as well. Just like a youth player would have, but we could see progress. We'd get a good yes or a good no in regards to whether they were up to it, whereas it is pretty clear a lot of the senior players are not
