Spurs are on 70pts and that is the most we can get but they have a much better goal difference so 3rd is the best we can do but that looks doubtful in current form

Last 5 seasons we've spent £472M. Won 2 titles, 1 FA Cup and 2 League Cups. Rags have spent £432M and won 1 title. Liverpool £354M and won 1 League Cup. Chelsea £476M and won 1 title, 1 CL, 1 FA Cup and 1 league cup. And this year, they've all got battered by Leicester but it's only City with problems and only City not winning stuff? How are all the others are going to miraculously get fantastic over the summer?
I accept, by how we can play, we've been poor this season. Apparently, West Ham play brilliantly, as do Liverpool and Southampton, whilst Utd are having a renaissance. Everyone of them are behind us. Arsenal are great and Spurs are the best team. We can still finish above them both.
I appreciate being a supporter means you only look at your team but, if we've got massive problems, what about the rest?

You're probably right but two 2-0 defeats for Spurs and a 2-0 and 3-0 for us would get second. I know, I know......Spurs are on 70pts and that is the most we can get but they have a much better goal difference so 3rd is the best we can do but that looks doubtful in current form

Only 1 in 4 signings are definitely golden.
1 in 4 signings the jury is out because of the manager's woeful tactics and coaching.
1 in 2 are poor (that's as good as Sour Alex at the swamp)
Taxi bagged the Golden Snark (Pep) - so lets see what happens under Pep.
I did used to have this horrible suspicion that the Barca Boys are here to destroy us as a competitor though...

If he hadn't bagged the Golden Snark though Txiki would now be looking for a new job.
Unfortunately, all reason is lost right now and the above completely ignored.
All sides have issues and need improvement in a number of areas both on and off the pitch year in year out and often from window to window.
I was never of the belief we had the best squad in the premiership far from it especially over the past three years even though our manager often said we had and that is never a guarantee of title success or consistent performance of a high quality.
We have never really been assembled to play at a high quality as a team despite having some excellent individuals some of whom gel and have a good sense of positioning and gel well with some other players.
That in the main is why you have a manager and the one who can train , organise on match days and instil in the players the confidence for each of them to gel as a team and play to a quality higher than every other team in what ever comp they participate in will get the plaudits he deserves for that achievement.
Maybe in Pep we will have the first manager who has the skill set to get City playing as a team as he has done so with Barcelona and Bayern albeit with very good teams despite not taking Bayern to a Chumps League final thereby result and target wise considered a failure on one level at Bayern.
City will be a much more difficult beast for him to get playing the football he knows has served him well in two different leagues but he can do it and has the hunger to do so.

He said he was leaving Bayern for a new challenge, he's definitely got one.
can someone tell me how this C*** still has a job, His transfer record is Appauling. and has left us with an expensive pile of shit as a squad that we will struggle to sell because of the insane wages their on. But what do we do we keep him in the job and let him buy more expensive shithouses for our team. should of been sacked long ago

Its not ignored on anybody who has followed city or supported city as we all have in my case for 42 years now.
Reason being we have statistically result wise and performance wise from an entertainment perspective both in quality and in game style regressed significantly for many months now.
We are not as physical as we once were and our skill in basic areas has fallen considerably albeit in the main because we have not improved our spine and recruited players who lack basic skills for the role they are intended to play.
Navas for example has pace but little delivery and often when he delivers the players are not pressing forward to be in the right position almost like the boy who cries wolf syndrome.
Our defence is often left in limbo because our midfield lacks speed and defensive quality especially against sides who press or can break quickly.
Our manager has regressed as well significantly some would argue in terms of his mantra and the results of the side he has managed for some time now.
The trophies have not been lost on supporters either and the monetary value of he squad for me while of some interest to those who want to compare sides who have spent heavily like us compared to other sides doesn't mean a lot at the end of the day if its affordable and sustainable.
Sure we could have got much better value for our buck in the transfer market as could any of the above - mentioned sides and we certainly need to do better in this aspect as we do need to bring in youth at a better rate.
I am more interested in the money invested in scouting and conditioning / training etc because that needs a serious investigation that needs not only addressing but implementation that delivers better outcomes.
